| Follow these simple steps to SWITCH your account over to WestBridge:
Step One: View the WestBridge website, or telephone 636-449-8500 for more information. Please visit the bank to open a new checking or other account. A WestBridge Private Banker will immediately help you through all the steps that follow:
Step Two: Change your automatic payments, direct deposit and bill pay, when your new account is set up:
- Write down your current automatic transactions – download our Account Transfer Checklist (anyone who is automatically depositing or withdrawing payments from your old checking account)
- Fill out authorization forms to transfer direct deposits and auto payments – download our Direct Deposit and Auto Payment switch forms, with sample cover letters.
**Please remember to stop using your former bank account, keeping enough funds in it to cover any outstanding checks, automatic withdrawals, and automatic payments.
Step Three: Close your old account:
- Once your final check, automatic withdrawal, and automatic payment has been paid, transfer any remaining balance by writing a check to WestBridge Bank, and depositing it into your new account. (allow approximately a month)
- Close your former account, by either contacting your old bank, or sending them a completed Account Closing Request form.
